Data Collected
Geometric Panic does not collect personal information. The only data transmitted to an external server is what you voluntarily submit to the optional leaderboard: a username of your choosing, your score, wave reached, and game mode. No device identifiers, IP address logs, or account information are retained beyond what is visible on the public leaderboard.
Local Storage
Game progress — including high scores, meta-progression fragments, upgrade unlocks, control settings, and preferred game mode — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. This data never leaves your device except through Android's own backup system if you have device backup enabled. The developer does not receive or access backup data.
Internet Access
The INTERNET permission is used solely to fetch and post leaderboard scores. Leaderboard use is entirely optional; the game is fully playable with no network connection. No advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers are included.
Removing Your Data
Leaderboard entries are submitted anonymously under a username of your choosing and cannot be removed once posted. Local app data can be cleared via Android Settings → Apps → Geometric Panic → Clear Data. Uninstalling the app removes all local data, subject to any backup your Android backup provider retains.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if the app's functionality or applicable requirements change. The current version will always be available on the app's download page.
